If you are short height person and want to get an adventure motorcycle and you are struggling to find the right one, because every adv you see on the road generally has a high seat height which makes you rethink your decision to get one.

Then this post is for you !! Just like you are currently struggling to find the perfect adventure motorcycle according to your size and height, i also struggled a lot due to my short height of 5.5ft / 167cm.

For me personally every single motorcycle was too high, I could barely plant my feet’s on the ground on almost all advs. But after lots of research and test riding i have found the perfect adventure motorcycles that any short height person like you and me can drive without any issues at all.

Adventure motorcycle with the Lowest Seat Height

Before we start the list of all the adv motorcycles which offers low seat height for short riders, let me just let you know the adventure motorcycle with the lowest seat height.

Currently in market the adventure motorcycle with the lowest seat height is the BMW F 750 GS with a seat height of 29.9 Inches / 760mm. So anyone who has a height above 5.1ft / 155cm can easily sit on this motorcycle with both feet planted on the ground.

It’s an amazing adventure motorcycle by BMW, it’s lightweight making it easier to handle, it has a 749cc engine which produces plenty of power for all types of terrains like onroad and offroads. It also gets a good suspension for a comfortable ride. Overall an amazing motorcycle for a short rider.

1. Triumph Tiger 900 Gt Low – 30.32 Inch / 770mm

The triumph tiger 900 Gt Low is the first low seat height adventure motorcycle in our list with a seat height of 30.32-31.10 in (770-790 mm).

The motorcycle comes with a liquid cooled 888 cc engine, which produces power of 93.9 HP. Which is plenty for constant cruising on highways in higher speeds and off-roading.

It also features a full color TFT Screen and adjustable suspension, with technological features such as ABS, traction control, crusie control, heated grips, riding modes along with slip and clutch assist for eiser control and handling of the motorcycle.

Due to the low seat height and a weight of just 425 Lbs (193 kg) it’s a amazing choice for shorter riders.

2. Royal Enfield Himalayan – 30.5 Inch / 800mm

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is another short height adventure motorcycle that you will like, it has seat height of just 30.5 Inch or 800mm.

The motorcycle comes with a 411cc singe cylinder engine which produces 24.3 HP and a torque of 23.6 ft/lbs. It is very lightweight compared to competitors due to which its easy for even beginners to handle with ease and it’s a very versatile motorcycle suitable for both offroads and onroad with ease.

Due to its comfortable seating posture, low seat height, versatility and good performance figures it is preferred by lot of adventure riders who are new to riding.

As for technology the Royal Enfield Himalayan doesn’t come with a lot of bells and whistles, it features analog speed indicator, rpm indicator and fuel indicator and digital gear indicator, digital odometer. For safety comes with a dual channel ABS.

3. Kawasaki Versys-X 300 – 32.1 Inch / 815mm

In our list we have two Kawasaki’s, the first is the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 with a seat height of 32.1 Inches or 815mm.

The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is one of my favorite adventure motorcycle which is an amazing and versatile when it comes to offroads and onroad, which it can do with ease. The motorcycle comes with a 296cc 4-stroke, 2-cylinder engine and produces a power of 39 HP and 18.5 ft/lbs torque.

It has a comfortable and wide seat for both rider and pillion with a comfortable seating posture for prolonged riding, the suspension is not long but is long enough for medium sized potholes and offroads, also as the suspension is soft it handles the shock quite well.

In terms of technology the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 comes with a analog rpm meter, digital gear indicator and a digital speed indicator and a odometer, for safety it comes with dual channel ABS.

4. Kawasaki KLR 650 S – 32.1 Inch / 815mm

The Kawasaki KLR 650 S is the second Kawasaki in our list, it comes with a seat height of 32.1 Inch or 815mm, same as the Kawasaki Versys-X 300.

Now the Kawasaki KLR 650 S is one of the variants of the KLR 650 which comes in a total of four variants, we have the regular KLR 650, 650 S, 650 Traveler ABS and Adventure. The Kawasaki KLR 650 S is the low seat height version.

The Kawasaki KLR 650 S comes with a 652cc Single cylinder engine that produces 40 HP and a torque of 39.1 ft/lbs. It’s an comfortable motorcycle with a comfortable seating posture and amazing front and back suspension for performance on both onroad and offroads.

For technology the motorcycle comes with a complete digital display with ABS for safety.

5. BMW F850GS – 32.1 Inch / 815mm

The final motorcycle in our list is the BMW F850GS that comes with a seat height of 32.1 Inches or 815 mm same as the above two motorcycles in our list.

Now the BMW F850GS comes with multiple seat height variants, and the lowest is the low suspension kit version. Here are all the variants ( In Inches ) – Rallye Seat: 35.0″, Comfort Seat: 34.4″, Standard Seat: 33.9″, Low Seat: 32.9″, Low Suspension Kit: 32.1″.

The motorcycle comes with a 853 cc liquid cooled 4-stroke parallel twin engine, that produces 90 HP and 63 ft/lbs of torque. Enough for all terrains you throw at it.

Due to low seat height and a straight riding posture the motorcycle is very comfortable to ride on all terrains and due to adjustable suspension you can adjust it for any terrain.

As for technology the motorcycle comes with a completely digital display with all the data like, speed, rpm, gear position, time, temperature etc. For safety purpose the motorcycle comes with switchable ABS.

Overall I just want to say that today in the market there are plenty of motorcycles that are suitable for short riders, if you want to get into adventure motorcycle riding or just want to get an adventure motorcycle, don’t hesitate and just go for it.
